I burnt the tip of my finger a few days ago on a hot, hot curling iron. That’s what I get for trying to make my hair look nice. I knew there was a reason I liked pulling it back into a pony tail.
To make a long story short, typing is painful as a result of the significant skin loss I have suffered on my right index finger. What does this mean? You are not getting a story, a poem, a rap, or a lengthy monologue today.

1 (15oz) can pumpkin
1/2C brown sugar (or use 1/2 maple syrup, 1/2brown sugar)
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2C milk
1tsp pumpkin pie spice
3/4tsp baking powder
2 1/2C old-fashioned oats
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a square baking dish (8×8 or 9×9) with no-stick spray.
In a bowl, combine pumpkin, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk.
In a separate bowl, combine pumpkin pie spice, salt, baking powder, and oats.
Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Stir until combined.
Pour oat mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. (Recommend: covering with foil during first 30 minutes)
Serve or store in refrigerator.
Serving recommendations: a sprinkle of nuts, a pat of butter, or a splash of milk or cream.
