Kale Chips!

Are you afraid of ghosts? goblins? ghouls? vampires?

What about kale?

Fear no more. Try this recipe.

Baked Kale Chips
Printable Recipe

olive oil (about 1T)
kosher salt
1 bunch of kale, washed and dried
Optional: garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, chili powder, etc

Preheat oven to 300. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Trim kale of the heavy stalk. Tear kale into large pieces. Toss in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Toss to coat. Add optional spice if you like – my favorite is a bit of garlic powder. Yum!

Lay kale onto baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan (unless you want chips that are not crispy). Bake at 300 for 15-20 minutes until crisp. Remove and serve!

Scared still?

I didn’t think so.
